Requirements to Be Considered for This Role

We are excited to welcome passionate and dedicated individuals to our team. To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Teamwork & Openness: A willingness to collaborate with colleagues and an openness to receiving guidance and mentorship throughout your journey with us.

  • Curriculum Flexibility: The ability to adapt to different syllabi such as CAPS, IEB, and IGCSE.

  • Qualifications & Experience: Strong academic results, relevant university studies (either in progress or completed), teaching experience or proven success stories, and a natural talent for teaching.

  • Adaptability & Resourcefulness: Flexibility to adjust to changes (e.g., scheduling shifts or varying syllabi) and the creativity to find solutions when needed.

  • Preparedness: Access to your own teaching resources and materials to enrich lessons.

  • Technical Requirements: A stable Wi-Fi connection, a reliable laptop, and backup options for loadshedding.

  • Communication Skills: A clear and easily understandable English accent.

  • Lesson Planning: The ability to design lessons that are fun, engaging, and tailored to different learning levels.

  • Availability: Consistent availability during the week to meet student needs.

All lessons are done online, so be sure to have a stable laptop and reliable wifi connection 

It’s a part time position so you get to choose the hours. So you’ll need to let us know how many hours you have free in a week, lessons are usually from 3pm in the afternoon

All payments are done on the last day of the month 

All communication happens through Whatsapp.
