Job description

We are looking for extra lesson tutors for high school

(Please do not apply if you cannot teach up to grade 12)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: R130 – R150 per hour

 

Tutors needed for the following subjects:
IT
Zulu
Spanish
Maths
Tutors we are looking for:
Spanish: 

We are looking for a Spanish Tutor to tutor a grade 11 student based in Mexico.
The student is fluent in English, and Spanish is a new language for them.
It’s very important to that the tutor we choose has a good neutral English accent so that learning is not inhibited.
Since there is an 8 hour time difference between South Africa and Mexico the tutor will need to be available from 12am – 6am SA time. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to this timeframe!!
We are looking for someone who can tutor up to grade 12.

IT: 

We are looking for an IT tutor for grade 10-12 students.
(please do not apply if you cannot teach upto grade 12)

Zulu: 

We are looking for an Zulu tutor to join our online team for grades 1-12 ( please do not apply if you cannot teach upto grade 12)
This is for our online tuition academy, so you’ll be teaching on an hourly basis.
Candidates must:
-Be able to speak English and have a clear accent.
– Have the appropriate resources and learning materials to teach upto grade 12.

To be considered for this role you must have the following:
  •  A willingness to work as a part of a team and the HUMILITY to be instructed and mentored throughout your time working with us
  • Must be able to adapt to various other syllabi such as CAPS, IEB, IGCSE
  • Have appropriate credentials (good school results, pursuing or completed university degree in the field, experience (success stories), special knack for teaching
  • Be adaptable and resourceful (flexible with change, such as schedule changes and different syllabi)
  • Have your own materials (able to find and use your own resources for the lessons)
  • Stable Wi-Fi connection, reliable laptop & loadshedding backup
  • Clear and understandable English accent
  • Able to plan lessons that are fun, engaging and understandable for different learning levels
  • Good availability during the week
